Distance and time limit:

53 km - 6 hours 53 minutes
7:00 min/km pace until the 1st transition point
A pace of 7:40 minutes/km until the 2nd changeover point
8:15 min/km pace until day 2 finish

Sections:

16.2 km – Fonyód-Balatonmáriafürdő
15.6 km – Balatonmáriafürdő-Keszthely
21.2 km – Keszthely-Szigliget

Start/Finish:

Rajt: Fonyód, parking place next to the marina, 10:00 AM, continuous start
Finish: Szigliget, parking place under the castle

Access to relay exchange points

1st changeover place – 16.15 km
Balatonmáriafürdő, Rákóczi u. Corner Imre Gróf Széchenyi tér
Approach: On road 7 at Balatonkeresztúr, turn right at the church to Ady Endre Street, this way to Balatonmáriafürdő. The interchange is at the intersection of Ady E. utca and Rákóczi utca.
Parking: At Balatonmáriafürdő, after the second railway crossing, turn right and left at Rákóczi u. before.

2nd changeover place – 31.8 km
Keszthely, Helikon beach
Approach: From Balatonmáriafürdő, take road 7 to road 71, then at the beginning of Keszthely, turn right on Csárda utca until you reach the beach.
Parking: in the parking lot before the railroad crossing and in the surrounding streets

Finish
Szigliget, parking lot under the castle
Approach: From Keszthely, turn right from road 71 towards Szigliget (Kossuth u.)
Parking: to the left of the Szigliget junction of road 71 in the parking lot near the Paprika restaurant or in downtown Szigliget. You can only park on one side between Route 71 and downtown Szigliget, the other side is closed.
